Is there a tut on how to convert from xps to ts3, preferably for dummies?

Extracting the files from XPS/Xnalara is a ridiculously simple process – all you need to do is Export the mesh out as an .obj file (it already gives you the textures in the .zip you DL, btw).

Here’s a simple object I’ll convert:

Download the zip, and extract the folder inside it to your project/work folder.

Move that folder to wherever you have XPS/Xnalara installed, and put it in the Data folder.

Open your XNALara XPS.exe in that same directory. 2 windows will open, the Control view and the 3d viewer.

In the Control viewer, click the File menu and Add Models.

And select the one you want from the dropdown list it gives you.

Once it loads, Just go to the Modify menu, and Export scene as .obj.

Another window will pop up, about coping the textures. Click OK, so it gives you the texture files again – or you can just copy/paste them from the Data folder to wherever your desired project/work folder is.

And that’s it. The easy part is over! U_U

As I always say in my tutorials, once you have the .obj file and textures, you’re ready to convert game models to TS3 in Milkshape/Blender/etc, and textures in GIMP/Photoshop/etc. Your time
in XPS/Xnalara doing the file extraction is
actually very brief. 😛

Now go forth, and follow the same steps for objects that I show in my TS2 to TS3 tutorial here, or for clothes or hair.
